We are looking for an engaged, versatile, and outreach-focused information professional to join our team of Research & Learning librarians, with a preference for someone with education and/or experience in English literature, creative writing, or comparative literature. As a liaison librarian, you will provide research support to undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and researchers; develop literacy opportunities both within and outside the curriculum; and manage the library’s print and online collections in these subject areas. You will build and foster positive relationships with departmental faculty and staff, and work to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion goals through collections, programs, and services, in alignment with the goals of the institution.
Reporting to the Head of Research & Learning for the Arts & Sciences, you will actively engage with programs and departments on campus that support students’ academic, writing, and research efforts. With your librarian colleagues and others, you will find opportunities to build connections between these programs and the library and develop partnerships with them to enrich students’ learning and academic experience.
