Description

Duties include but are not limited to management of the public floor. Controlling semi-annual inventory and flow of the public stacks. Answering reference questions and assisting library patrons in house and on the phone. Processing and tracking interlibrary loan materials for three public libraries. Assistance with social media and website maintenance. Planning and hosting new programs for adults and teen patrons. In addition, we will be requiring the person to obtain and maintain a test proctor certification from a third-party company as a back up to the library’s Saturday Testing Center. This position will be required to work 1 if not 2 weekends a month.

Requirements

Requiring a Master of Library Science or MLIS. The library will provide training for all necessary systems and required certification.
